- 2017 - 2020 Nissan Armada Installation Note

 

 

Make sure vehicle is parked at a leveled ground and hand brake is engaged to prevent sliding away. 

 

 

 

For 2018-2020 Armada:

Connect new harnesses:

 

To lower back of the unit:

To the connectors of the back of factory display not CD player and not to the white AC box:

The yellow RCA coming out from the left picture needs to connect to a female yellow RCA with tag "Camera" on a black rectangle connector. Connect the connector to the back of the radio for backup video.

To the connector at the back of factory CD player:

Not used. 

For 2017 Armada: 

Camera connector:

Climate/CANBUS connector:

Camera power connector: 
Note: Do not use 40 PIN from the white AC box(White box on the left hand side of the picture) to connect to this two wire connector. If you have factory 360 bird view system, you do not need to connect this connector. 

Power, speaker, and amp turn-on connector. 

Factory 360 Camera:

You may need to adjust the car info settings after installing. Please go to setting - install set - 8861 - car type - choose Tule Hi - Choose it again - you will see this page below. Pay attention to the car info at the center. 

Please change that to the model year of your vehicle then press ok at the bottom, press bottom left arrow - save and reboot at the bottom. 

To change the viewing angle:

1. Gear NOT in reverse - press "source" button on steering wheel to bring up camera and press it again to change camera view.

2. When gear is in reverse, camera view cannot be changed. 

AC connection:

Please remove this AC amplifier white box from the factory's CD player bracket and connect it back to its original connection. The connector of this box has the same shape of another connector either behind the screen or behind the CD player. Please DO NOT use those connectors to connect to this box. 

The white box is needed for AC to function correctly. 

*Factory settings like Sonar, blind spot, lane departure and others are accessible in "Console" app on the top. If you do not see console app on the top, please swipe left or right on the top section. 

360 camera update. 

If you have G6 platform and the around view camera is not working, please use this update:
