The radio outputs sound to the vehicle via AUX channel. The can bus decoder box sets the channel to be the AUX and locks it in place. If there is no sound coming out from the vehicle. please check if you have retained the factory unit behind the new radio and if the factory radio has sound.
Use all the T - harness to connect. between factory module and its original connectors. The T - harness acts as a bridge between the factory module and its original connectors.
If your package comes with an airbag tieline 3/11, temporarily remove the small connector from the hareness.
If those steps are correct and there is still no sound, please disconnect these two connectors below:
After disconnecting these two connectors, connect the original factory connector back to the factory module. Toggle the mode button on steering wheel and change the input channel to AUX, check if there is sound coming out.
If there is sound coming out in AUX mode and the sound is from the radio, leave the two connector disconnected.
If there is no sound coming out, please check these two connectors and check if the yellow rectangle connector is connected to the back of the radio. Also make sure the factory radio's AUX port was working before.
Check continuity between the yellow connector and the male white plug. Make sure the wires are continuous.
If the steps above are performed and there is still no sound coming out then the radio could be defective. Please contact us to arrange for exchange.
