Referencing this picture, please cut the circled wire: Once you have done that, cut a small opening on the red wire next to it. Remove approx. 1/4" insulation

on the yellow wire as well. Join the metal wire from the yellow wire to the red one. Secure with insulation tape:

Lastly, tape the other end of the yellow wire that was cut off.
