- 2014 - 2019 + Tundra Installation Note

Connect the matching connector between the main radio harness and the factory harness. 

Then to retain factory backup camera, connect a male yellow RCA from factory harness to a female yellow RCA with tag "Camera" on a black rectangle connector. 

For radio that comes with bottom three knobs, you need to remove the factory hazard switch and passenger airbag indicator from the factory and put them on.

Turn factory AC panel to its back, remove the screws at the back of the panel. 

After that, remove the screws holding the motherboard then remove the two plastic buttons on either side. 

Turn new radio to its back, remove the screws holding the small circuit board on each side. Put in hazard and airbag indicator. Then put the screws back on. Please do NOT over torque the screws as it may leave a mark on the front. 

Dash Warning Light Issues: 

Please cut this brown wire. 

AC Settings:

If your AC is not working, please check settings below.

To access car type settings, please go to setting - Advanced/Install set - 8861 - car type

Please do not change other settings.

Please check on your factory vehicle's AC panel, if you have "auto" button on your factory AC panel, you have auto AC. If there is no "AUTO" button, then you have manual AC. Please choose appropriate AC type below.

Auto AC - Tundra Hi

Both CAN, Airbox Baudrate - 38400

Please check on your factory vehicle's AC panel, if you have "auto" button on your factory AC panel, you have auto AC. If there is no "AUTO" button, then you have manual AC. Please choose appropriate AC type below.

Auto AC with heated/cool Seats - Choose Tundra Hi Hi

Protocol - Simple

Both CAN, Airbox Baudrate - 38400

Please check AC connector and make sure no pin is bent or broken if AC is not working. The correct plug and pin arrangement is below: 

Tundra 2020+ dash board error lights + vehicle stuck in reverse: 

Please locate these two purple wires and cut both of them. After that, install original radio back to remove the codes. Then install the T style radio again. 

Add 12V amp turn on wire. Remove 2 purple wires next to orange.

Add 12V reverse trigger wire. 

Please use connectors below. Do NOT use the black 28pin connector. That one will also fit the power connector. Use the GREY one instead.
