Remove air duct and clock from the factory and put it on the new radio:
Connect matching connectors from the main harness to the vehicle.
Then connect the other side of plug to the back of new radio:
The black connector with RCAs provides video input port for backup camera, front camera and side camera. The brown wire is backup trigger. It triggers the screen when 12v is connected.
The yellow connector has pre-amp output for aftermarket amp.
Brown connector provides USB connection.
Hazard Light
If your hazard light does not work, please check this connector and make sure it is connected to the correct plugs on the car side. There might be more than one plugs that will fit. Use the plug that was connected to the back of original hazard connector.
Backup Camera Wiring
For models before 2010:
1. You need a 6V step down module
2. A male RCA plug with loose wire on the other end.
Connect 6V step down module to a loose purple wire on AV-IN black plug. Then the output of 6V step down module to pin 13 black wire. The perspective of the picture is looking at the terminal side of the factory connector.
Connect pin 14 to ground.
Pin 27 and 28 to signal positive and negative on the male RCA.
Connect RCA to "camera" female RCA on AV-IN connector.
For 2010 and after:
Connect the 6V step down output to pin6. Pin 5 and Pin 16 to positive and negative of male RCA.
Pin 17 connects to ground.
Connect male RCA to a female RCA on AV-IN with tag "camera".
