Please use this guide only if you have the CarPlay/Android Auto Dongle. It is a white or black USB module that is purchased separately.

Please download the software to a flash drive. Plug in flash drive to your android stereo. Go to "File Manager". Locate USB flash drive, open "autokit.apk". Press "install".
After Installing, connect your android stereo to Wi-Fi. Open the autokit app, tap the gear icon on top left. Please note, do not connect your phone to the dongle but have your dongle connected to the USB port. In the setting page, scroll to the bottom, press check upgrade and install both software and hardware updates. After installing, your CarPlay/Android Auto is good to go.
Setup:
Plug in your phone to the dongle to enable the function. If you are using wireless dongle, please go to your phone's bluetooth setting. Find the dongle's name on your phone's bluetooth list then connect. The dongle's name can be found on top left under the bluetooth icon.
If you are experiencing lagging or choppiness when listening to music, disconnect your phone. Tap the gear icon on top left, under "mode" choose fluency then connect your phone and try again.
