Negative on RCA is the black wire and positive is yellow.
Pin 13 and 14 are positive and negative power wire. 13 needs 6V of voltage and will connect to purple wire on the connector below. Please test the voltage on purple wire before connecting.
Find the RCA wires and power wires on this connector:
Airbag connection (ES Only. For IS, refer to next section):
Lexus ES comes with an airbag light adapter, which is a T-harness with a black piece of tapped board. There are three wires coming off the board: red, violet and orange.
Find matching connection on the factory side and bridge the connection between factory connector and radio connector. If you did not find matching connection and the airbag light on dash board lights up, please use diagram below to wire them up.
Perspective of the diagram below is the terminal side(not wire side) of the factory connector. The color of factory wire on pin4 is red and pin5 is black. Connect pin4 to orange wire on the black board and pin5 to purple wire.
The red wire on the black board goes to ACC wire. You can find ACC wire on the radio with the same red color.
If you do not have connector above, find this connector instead.
Diagram is also in perspective of terminal side of factory connector. Factory wire on pin9 is red and pin20 is black.
The red wire on the black board goes to ACC wire. You can find ACC wire on the radio with the same red color.

Please follow the link above to remove your factory radio. You will need to keep part of your factory radio behind the new radio in order to have sound.
*Screw points will be different for ES. The vehicle used in the guide is IS.
After you have successfully assemble the radio, use the T connectors provided to bridge connections between factory radio and its original harness. T connector comes with matching male and female end on the same wiring. Connect one end to the factory radio and the other end to the vehicle. The black 20 pin connector will go to new radio. For other factory connectors that do not have a place to plug in on the harness, connect them back to factory radio directly.
To retain OEM camera: please hardwire a male RCA to this connector on the factory. The diagram is view on the pin side of the factory connector:
Pin 5 red: RCA+
Pin 16 white: RCA-
Pin 6 black: 6V
Pin 17 CGND: GND
Pin 5 (red) is positive and Pin 16 (white) is negative. Connect the RCA to a female RCA with tag "Camera" on the T style unit.
For 2013 model, wire camera like these instead. Locate this large connector on the car side.
Pin 39 connects to 6V.
Pin 40 connects to ground.
Pin 18 connects to RCA +.
Pin 19 connects to RCA -.
These wires can be found on another connector on the same harness. Cut these four wires off and splice them to the corresponding wires on the car side connector.
Please also check whether the radio would switch to reverse screen when shifted. If not, connect pin 57 to a brown loose wire tagged "back" on the radio side.
