After that, remove factory radio panel from the frame. Use the screws to secure the new radio to the frame.
Connect main harness to the factory wiring harness, it is a large black connector. Then remember to connect decoder box to the main harness.
After that, connect radio antenna adapter.
Then connect factory AC connectors to the radio.
For manual AC, you will need to connect two connectors. One to the larger white port and the other to the black port on the radio.
For auto AC, you only need to connect your factory AC connector to the adapter provided. The adapter connects to the smaller port on the back of the radio.
The other connectors goes back to the factory fram.
Connect the main harness to the back of the radio then connector the color plugs:
The black connector with RCAs provides video input port for backup camera, front camera and side camera. The brown wire is backup trigger. It triggers the screen when 12v is connected.
The yellow connector has pre-amp output for aftermarket amp.
Brown connector provides USB connection.
After all plugs are connected, reverse the steps to put the radio back on.
Check sound and AC.
If AC is not working, please check settings as follow:
If you have Auto AC, please go to setting - advanced/Install set - 8861 - car type - choose Dodge ram Hi - go back to advanced - save and reboot.
If you have Manual AC please go to setting - advanced/Install set - 8861 - car type - choose Dodge ram Lo - go back to advanced - save and reboot.
