*For audio decoder box: 

The radio has updated the harness and the audio decoder box is no longer included. Instead, connect the white and red male connectors from the main harness to "AUX L" and "AUX R" female connector on the black rectangle connector. 

Only some speakers work: 

Please use this guide to adjust speaker balance. If "amp info" is not available, please refer to the AC section below to adjust the car type setting and protocol.

If AC does not have full control solution, follow steps below. 

-For vehicle comes with factory navigation:

If connecting all the matching connectors behind are connected, please check under setting - install set/Advanced - 8861 - car type - choose 02-09 prado Disc HI - make sure protocol is under "BNR with AC" - press ok at the bottom - go back out and press save and reboot. 

If you do not have AC at all, please check above setting then go to setting - system info - press and hold - 7890 - system - DO NOT change any setting - find airbox baudrate and CAN baudrate - both are 38400. 

After setting above and you still have partial AC control and no temperature display on screen, please remove your factory display from the frame. Turn the display to its back. Locate the screws and remove them. 

Remove the ribbon cables connecting to the circuit board and remove only the circuit board with white connectors on it. Connect all the factory connectors back to this board and leave it behind the radio. It will keep AC active with temperature displayed. 

-For vehicle that does not have factory navigation:

Please remove the AC control box behind factory AC panel:

Use factory screw to secure the black box to the back of the radio:

Then connect the ribbon cable to the CANBUS decoder box behind the unit. Connect the original AC connectors back to the AC control box. 

Connect other matching connection on the radio. Please check settings - install set/Advanced - 8861 - Car type - choose 02-09 Old Prado Disc - Protocol is BNR with AC - press ok at the bottom - go back to install set page and press save and reboot.

Rear Entertainment:

Rear entertainment will work independently from the radio. However, modification is needed for it to work. We will need to connect factory display back. Once factory screen is connected back and tested with DVD that the rear screen is working. We will have to fit the screen behind the new radio. We recommend separating the motherboard from the display and keep the motherboard behind insulated.

Camera

We recommend installing an aftermarket camera to gain backup control
