After removing factory radio, please locate the two large black connectors behind the factory radio. The one has two single pin on each side is for power speaker and CANBUS control. The other connector is for amplifier turn on.
On the main harness, which has two matching connector to connect to the two. Please note on the main harnesses, there are a yellow rectangle connector and a small purple 4 pin connector. The yellow connector controls the factory amplifier and the purple connector controls the unit's on and off. The purple connector also communicates data with the vehicle.
*Note: please make sure the small purple connector is connected properly and no pins on the radio side is bent. Otherwise the radio or vehicle may not work properly.
Connecting factory connector:
Black rectangle connector with RCAs are for backup cameras and other video input and output. If your factory comes with a 4" screen, please remember to remove the black SYNC box as well. Locate the factory screen connector, which is a 12 pin connector. Connect that to the adapter in the package and lock the lever. Connect the video decoder box to the harness then connect the yellow male RCA on the harness to the yellow female harness with tag "Camera" on the black rectangle connector.
If you have a factory 8" screen, please locate a bigger connector that has a yellow male RCA on it.
Green DVR and yellow rectangle RCA harness are optional. Green DVR harness provides an extra video input and yellow rectangle RCA harness is for aftermarket amplifier. It provides pre-amp outputs.
USB:
Connect brown connector to the back of the radio, One of the connection will connect to factory and you can access that from one of your factory USB ports.
OBD Port:
This port will display speed and RPM. If you have other OBD accessories, you can choose not to use it.
The two ports at the bottom back of the radio are for AC controls. Please remove the factory passenger airbag indicator and put it at the bottom of the radio.
Camera no signal:
Please disconnect the "Video decoder box" and connect the yellow wire to the green wire in the picture.
The green wire could sometimes be purple.
12.1" Screen with Auto AC
The steps are the same but you will need to remove the factory AC board and put it behind the new radio. The package provides two ribbon cables to connect two pieces of factory AC boards. Please also remove the AC control strips and airbag indicator and put it at the front of the radio.
Turn the factory AC control panel to its back. Remove the screws holding the back panel.
After that you will see two circuit boards connected together by two ribbon cables. Pull the tab on the ribbon cable out slightly to release both ribbon cables and set them aside.
Remove the two green boards, airbag light and fan speed control strip and put them on the new radio. Remember to connect the two ribbon cables back on the boards as well.

Connect yellow male RCA coming from the SYNC box to a yellow female tagged "CVBS in 1" if SYNC is not showing.

After Installing the AC board for Auto AC, please remove the SYNC module behind the factory screen:
Connect the SYNC module to the back of the new screen.
SYNC 3 uses a cable like in the picture to connect and SYNC2 has a connector at the center of the SYNC module. Secure the module with screws provided.
Remember to remove the hazard, trailer cam and other button on the top of the factory unit and put them on the new radio.
Reverse the steps in the video to put the radio back on.
13" Screen with Manual AC
Please follow this guide to remove the factory display and factory audio module (CD player) at the bottom.

After that, Please connect the two large black connector on the main harness to the two audio module connector on the car side.
Locate a flat metal box in the package with two black connections on it. This is the climate control box. Please connect the two connections on the box to the vehicle's two AC connector. Note that on this metal box, you have a small white port. There should be a white cable connected to this port like shown in the picture below. Connect the small white cable to the main harness of the radio. The matching white cable on the main harness is tagged "air conditioner".
On the other end of the white cable, you have a small black connector. Please connect that connector to a matching black connector on the main harness. This connector on the main harness is also on two white wires.
Please ignore all other small loose wires and two pin connectors on the main harness.
After that, locate a latch connector which was connected to the original display. Find a matching adapter in our package and connect it to this connector. This is the backup camera adapter. Connect the male RCA to a female yellow RCA tagged "Camera" on the "AV-IN" harness. Picture attached is one of the two reverse camera adapters. This one is for 4" display of F series before 2018 and selected F series on and after 2018. If you have SYNC 3 and 8" display, you will use a larger adapter.
After connecting the plugs above, please remove the top push keys like hazard, traction control and other keys on the original radio by pushing them from the back. Then do the same on our radio and remove the buttons on the top. Put the original buttons on our radio. If you have extra slots left on our radio, you can choose one of the AC control keys and put them back in. Connect our AC control keys to a harness that comes with the radio.
After that, please connect all the harness to the back of our radio and turn on the vehicle to test sound , AC and other functions. If the camera does not trigger when shifted to reverse, please locate a brown wire tagged "back" and connect it to the backup lamp.
After functional check, reverse the installation steps and put the radio back in.
