- Lexus GS Installation Notes

After the factory radio is removed, please connect the main harness to the vehicle side. 

There will be extra connectors both on the vehicle and on the radio side. Only connect the matching connectors. Please dont forget to connect the CANBUS decoder box on the main harness. 

After that, connect the main harness to the back of the radio. Dont forget to connect the white port at the lower back. 

Connect the color connectors to the back of the radio as well:

The black connector with RCAs provides video input port for backup camera, front camera and side camera. The brown wire is backup trigger. It triggers the screen when 12v is connected.

The yellow connector has pre-amp output for aftermarket amp. 

Brown connector provides USB connection.

Hazard, Airbag, and Security Light for GS that comes w/ Factory Navigation

Make sure this plug is connected.

For 2010+ GS, Hazard, Airbag Light and Security Light:

Please locate this connector on factory side:

Pin #2 - Hazard,

Pin #3 - Airbag - On

Pin #4 - Airbag - Off

Pin #6 - Security

Please locate the blue factory 6pin connector. Then connect pin #2 and pin #6 to hazard and security on the radio side 10pin connector. 

After that, to turn off airbag light, locate the airbag turn-off board below. Connect the wires to corresponding place on factory blue connector. The ACC wire on the board can be connected on to the main harness of the radio. Refer to the back of the radio for pinouts. It is also a red wire on the radio wiring.

Please locate these four wires on the car side. Use a 6V step down module or you can use 12 V to connect to the camera power. Connect CGND to ground. Connect RCA + and - to male RCA plug in the link and connect the plug to a yellow female "camera" connector on our radio.
